Body & Soul

We had a great time working on this project with The Queens of Neon, aka Sharon Greene & Amo Downey. We assembled a great crew who all worked very hard to make our vision a reality. Festivals like this are what make summer in Ireland such an incredible place and we love working with creative people to achieve stunning videos that sell their ideas to the right audience.

A huge thank you to Brodie Sullivan for assistance, Jennifer O’ Brien on make up, Emmy Lugoye, Dei Hegarty, Dave Hegarty, Emily Robyn Archer, Aoife Banville, Annie June Callaghan, Kim McCafferty, Pam Ward, Andreas Pettersson, Susie Boyle & Dan on lighting, Andy Barlow of LOWB for music & everybody else that made our video and photoshoot weekend such a success!

Naas Court Hotel

The amazing costumes at this Halloween party were great fun to shoot for this video which we were approached to produce, edit and film. We knew the target audience for this would love seeing themselves in the video, so we caught as many people as we could on the night, all of whom were delighted to be approached! Talk to us about attending your event and maximizing your online presence with similar videos.

The Hot Sprockets

I was delighted to be asked to produce, film and edit the Hot Sprockets’ album launch in May 2011. We hung out with the band at locations all over Dublin to deliver a video which sought to capture the mood and essence of this brilliant Dublin band. The lads are presently working on new material which I hope reaches our ears in the very near future.

Long live The Hot Sprockets!

Sustainability

I have worked at music festivals over the last 10 years and often I’m one of the first to arrive and one of the last to depart. Globally, over the last ten years, there has been a huge increase in the number of music festivals taking place. In Ireland alone over 1000,000 people attend the two biggest festivals each summer. An estimated 50% of tents are abandoned, not to mention the tens of thousands of Euros worth of sleeping bags, beer, food, wellies & torches that are wasted. How can we encourage the so-called ‘Green Generation’ to face their hangovers & leftovers head on and alleviate this problem?

I teamed up with the festival to produce, edit and film this short video which highlights the problem and encourages a change in peoples attitudes at Body & Soul.

Aspect Ltd

We’ve worked with Aspect on a number of projects for clients in various sectors, located across the world. We also created this video for Aspect themselves, taking some potentially dry subject matter and animating it to provide a visual focus. Animating mission statements and corporate messages like this increase the potential for them to be heard – an average site viewer might not read that script, but with an animated visual accompaniment, they’ll quite happily watch it. Call us if you want to talk to us about how to do the same for your company.

Kilkenomics

Click Zoom was hired to produce and film the events at Kilkenomics festival in 2012. We filmed 13 shows over the weekend and conducted a number of interviews in the beautiful city of Kilkenny. This piece features Bill Black, the former US bank regulator, comedian, Colm O’ Regan, Peter Antonion of Uuniversity College London. The shows took place in many well known venues around Kilkenny including The Set Theatre, Cleere’s, The Hole in The Wall and The Pembroke Hotel, so a significant production schedule saw us up against the clock – we think we nailed it.

Kilkenomics

Click Zoom edited & mixed this promotional video, the raw footage for which was provided by the festival. We love this festival, which is described as “the only festival brave (and foolish) enough to put the best comedians and economists in the world on the same stage.”

It has always been a real pleasure to film and work with the festival, who’ve brought speakers like Jeffrey Sachs, Peter Schiff, Willi Hutton, Max Keiser, Megan Greene, Bill Black, Heiner Flassbeck and Andrea Catherwood, among many others to Ireland.

Punk Economics

You can tell we love working with David McWilliams, right? In this Punk Economics episode, which we filmed, edited and produced, McWilliams discusses whether a European Tea Party will emerge. Says McWilliams, “The Financial Times this week believes so. What do you think? 2014 is a big year for Europe with parliamentary elections in June. The economies are still very weak, but financial markets are roaring ahead and Brussels is in triumphant mood. Can this continue? Here’s our take. We’d like to hear yours.

Herbfeast

An example of how we can work with you on any number of projects, however big or small. We filmed a short promo for Herbfeast 2013 (The Community of Irish Herbalists) at The Organic Centre Rossinver, Co Leitrim, which proved an interesting day out and resulted in this great video which they love. Using footage from the first event, we set out to capture the mood and focus of the event.
