We filmed, edited and directed this video which was shot for a Radio Na Life studio session in Dublin. Radio na Life was the first independent Irish-language radio station, which came on the air in September 1993 covering Dublin City and surrounding areas. Tune in if you want to brush up on your Gaeilge!

Shot for An Meángadh Mór Radio Show, Radio Na Life, Dublin, Ireland.

Punk Economics

A highlight from our ongoing relationship with Punk Economics and David McWilliams which we produced, filmed and edited. Here, McWilliams talks about the effects of shrinking crop stockpiles, increases in biofuel demand and commodity speculation. These changes herald a possible end for cheap, accessible food across the world and the content of his City Talk explored how cities can respond: complex ideas which we distilled with our unique live animation.

This text launched to a full house in Sydney in November 2012 at a Sydney Talk Event. The music, by the way, is from Mutefish, Eric McGrath and It Was All A Bit Black & White – great bands which we recommend you check out!

Produced for David McWilliams & The City of Sydney

David McWilliams

Click Zoom produced, filmed and offline edited David McWilliam’s nine 1-hour economics courses which launched on www.udemy.com in July 2013. Here is a short sample. These courses introduce economics to an audience who might not typically watch such dry material – our goal, visually, was to excite the viewer and present a new way of thinking about the topics being discussed.

IL Fico

We were approached to produce, film and edit an exciting, highly marketable video to promote their new restaurant venture, which would be viewed by a diverse audience. We worked with them to ensure we had full access to the restaurant in order to capture the elements we knew would sell – food, smiles, wine and a friendly tone.

Raglans

You can probably tell that we’re massive festival fans and we’d love to talk to you about what you need created at your festival. We can produce, edit and film individual band performances, promo videos in the lead up the festival and wrap-up videos which capture the excitement and energy of festivals. Talk to us!

Ned Egan

This short film, shot in Mullinavat, Co Kilkenny, Ireland introduces local man Ned Egan, Poet & Raconteur. A personal project which we created to bring the man to a wider audience. With the creative freedom this project allowed, we worked on capturing Ned in a number of places to highlight his charm, wit and prose.

Body & Soul

Shot over the course of one afternoon, this shoot was lots of fun to work on (the champagne was an added bonus!). We shot edited & directed this promotional video for the ‘Queens Go Wildside’ Banquet that took place on June 18th and 19th 2011 at Body & Soul Festival in Ballinlough Castle, Co. Westmeath. The Music was composed by Brendan Roth & Co of electro outfit Datadrip – thanks for your hard work.

Make Up by Jennifer O’Brien, Styled by Queens of Neon and our fabulous models; Jean & Eugene Greene, Ruth Barry, Jennifer O’Brien, Emmy Lugoye, John Bird, Peter Fingleton, not forgetting our right hand man and bunny rabbit-Kev Tierney. Voice over by Raul Fernadez Gomez, thanks Raul!

Zealots

This tune was recorded live in studio for Radio Na Life in 2011, which we filmed, directed and edited. Zealots are a four piece band from Dublin, Ireland. Following on from the release of their acclaimed debut E.P “Flowers for My Broken Head” and its subsequent tour, they have been hard at work on their debut album.

ACS

We pride ourselves on working with clients to elicit, understand and present their messages and stories to wide audiences in simple ways. This video for ACS, the Association of Convenience Stores, which is the voice of over 33,500 local shops in the UK does just that. We were approached to create this video for them by a third party, who we worked with to get a full brief on the organisation.
