King Modo

This video was shot at a festival in Ireland in the summer of 2011. Festivals can be difficult places to shoot videos: on site you’ve got bad weather, drunk punters and often not the best views of the stage and off-site, you’ve got to mix the audio and video so it looks perfect. Handily for this shoot we worked on making sure the conditions were ideal for our shoot and the resulting video shows this.

King Modo are Paul Keogh — Guitar& Vocals, Lenny Cahill — Drums, Jon Barett — Guitar, Mark Dempsey — BassVox Piano/Vox: Karl Murphy.

Gender Based Violence

We’ve happily worked on this project for quite some time now, in a number of roles. We’ve filmed and edited all of their videos, provided camera people for events and worked with them on coordinating production schedules. These shoots have seen us set up in venues like The Royal Irish Academy, The Gresham Hotel, The Chester Beatty Library and the Irish Aid buildings on O’ Connell St. Filming conferences and events is a specialty of ours so get in touch if you need to talk about how to maximize the potential audience for your events and conferences.

Kila

We were asked by one of our favourite bands, Kila, to film / edit four tracks from their gig at the Draoícht Arts Centre, Blanchardstown. We worked on this multi camera set- up with Myles O’ Reilly of Arbutus Yarns to create an atmospheric video which captured the great buzz in the venue on the night. Featuring songs from their rather chilled album ‘Soísín’, it features beautiful, rather chilled music; we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Hassle Merchants

One of two videos we’ve created for Hassle Merchants, a four piece Dublin band whose music we’re huge fans of. Having batted their eyelashes and hiked up their skirts since 2005, the band finally caught the eye of lauded economist, David McWilliams.

McWilliams is such a fan that he made the Hassle Merchants’ song Run Rabbit Run the theme song for his web-series: Punk Economics (which we also work on – handy!).

The series has cumulatively received over 500,000 views on Youtube.

Hot House Flowers

Shot in 2004 this video accompanied the first single from the Hot House Flowers album ‘Into Your Heart’, which reached number three in the Irish charts. Taken from the album’ Into Your Heart ‘.

Produced & Directed by Ado Brett and Mark Staunton.
